Easiest Korra arm sleeves ever: cut up tights~

Korra hair WIP~ I decided to use my natural hair instead of a wig because wigs are really hard to style into a ponytail as high as Korra’s. My hair is too long and too dark but whatever lol. The hair tube thingies aren’t done but i just have to cover them with fabric. I just wanted to see if my hair could even work with the tubes. #personal #selca #cosplay #wip #Korra #lok

Hi there! I realize I haven’t made a cosplay-related post in a while, so here’s what I’ve been preparing for Anime Matsuri: Korra~

I’ve either already ordered or bought everything excpt for what I’ve circled. I’ve tried to find a shirt similar to hers or one I can alter but no luck so far? I just don’t want to have to sew one but I might have to ;~;

Her bum flap thingy won’t be hard so I’m still missing that but it should be rather simple to make. Also her arm band shouldn’t be too challenging.

Hair um… pieces? What even… idk. 

Everything else is pretty much covered but do you guys have suggestions for me on where I’m stuck?

wow this is really old. My friend and I took a picture of these two cosplayers at Anime Expo 2012. When we asked to take a picture of them, the guy dressed as Tahno was like, “Go for it.” Then of course we were like,” asdajhfkhsgaslkdjgjfhgkjhryouguysaresocoolkdhafjsdhflkheuhkadn!”

Alright, there’s one more set after this and then I’m finally done putting up Oni-Con 2012 pictures on tumblr!

In order, we’ve got:

1. Sailor Moon and Sailor Pluto looking quite lovely out on the steps of the convention center…
2. …and not too much later, they were standing with Maleficent so I had to get a picture of the three of them together
3. This Korra and Lin were flawless and you can’t tell me otherwise
4. Mickey and Minnie Mouse looking super cute together
5. THIS STORM THOUGH JUST LOOK AT HER HOLY CRAP

9. Ana showed up a few minutes later now donning her OTT Sweet Lolita OP and just look how precious she is! Sorry honey, I wish it was lighter!
